Welcome to our Treehouse

Why Squirrel Brain?
Squirrel brain is often used as a joke — shorthand for someone who seems scattered or distracted.

We chose the name with intention, and with care.
Squirrels are actually highly intelligent animals. Their brains are complex, adaptable, and remarkably good at learning. Far more capable than they appear at first glance.

The ADHD Paradox
ADHD brains share that same paradox.

From the outside, an ADHD brain can look unfocused, restless, or frenzied. On the inside, it is often busy noticing patterns, making connections, responding creatively.

Unhurried Support
At Squirrel Brain Coaching, we start from the recognition that the ADHD brain is already capable. Our work is creating conditions of unhurried support — support where a busy, curious brain can settle, stretch, and thrive.

Because what appears scattered on the surface is often, in fact, intelligent, adaptive, and quietly impressive.

About Me

Hi! I'm Tejas Mistry.

I have ADHD.

I know firsthand what it's like to have potential and drive—and still struggle to live up to it consistently. I also know how transformative it can be when someone truly understands what you're dealing with.

The Path Here
Before coaching, I spent 25 years at Microsoft as a software engineer and manager. Over time, I realized what I was naturally drawn to and adept at was the people side of the work—guiding teams, mentoring people, helping them feel seen, understood, and empowered.

I discovered I was doing a lot of coaching before I ever called it that.

Eventually, I decided to turn instinct into something more intentional.
I trained with the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) in coaching frameworks, rooted in brain science and designed specifically for ADHD.

My Approach
My coaching approach is grounded in the genuine belief that every person, like a squirrel, is already capable, adaptive, and resourceful. Our task then, isn't to instill those qualities—it's to create the conditions where you can access them.
That starts with slowing down. With understanding before strategy. With building perspective and self-trust—so you can discover solutions that work for you.

My goal is to create a space where people can see themselves with a little more clarity—and a lot less judgment.
